On 25 August, Vida e Caffe has purchased a stand at the All Life Matters Animal Sanctuary Craft Market. The event allows us to give back and help a great cause but also move into the event and popup market space. We will be selling croissants, muffins, baguettes, fresh juices, frios, vida snacks, coffee beans, capsules and branded eco cups.
These events we hold every Saturday (at one particular shop and it rotates). This event is open to the public but targeted at underprivileged children associated with charities that we work with.
These charities include Caritas Ile Maurice, SOS Childrens Village, Rotaract Club and Lions Club Flacq. The goal is to get the kids out of parishes and orphanages and spend the day with use learning how to make pizzas, playing with Peppi the mascot and enjoying a delicious lunch.

This financial year we have hosted 60 Kids Pizza Making Masterclass events feeding on average around 2000 kids to date.
To add; we have also donated/sponsored food to poor governmental schools for particular fund raisers or events that they have hosted. We deliver pizza and bring Peppi along to entertain the children;
- 500 pizzas delivered to Aryan Vedic Government School
- 247 pizzas delivered to SSS Pamplemouss Governemt School
- 50 pizzas delivered to Maternelle Des Juniors
Pizza Inn partnered with the charity Lions Club of Flacq to put on a Kids Pizza Making event and a Pizza Eating Contest.
Participants had to purchase tickets in order to compete in either event with all proceeds going to Lions Club. There were also raffles that were purchased throughout the day as there were many prizes up for grabs sponsored by numerous tenants at the mall. The event was a great success with over 500 attendees and raised over Rs20 000 for Lions Club charity.

All money donated was used for food packs which were then distributed to the villages. Pizza Inn sponsored 100 pizzas for a particular village during the distribution of the packs.
